The Carlton Cannes entrusted interior decorator Tristan Auer with the important task of orchestrating the rebirth of this iconic property. Auer’s vision was to preserve the historic character of the building while also creating a masterpiece of modern design.
To achieve this, the Carlton Cannes employed only the best craftsmen, whose skills and expertise were essential to the success of the project. For example, the chandeliers in the Grand Salon were expertly restored by the same skilled hands that work for the Palace of Versailles, ensuring that they are as beautiful and functional as they were when they were first installed.

Richard Lavelle, the person in charge of the renovation project, has emphasized the importance of preserving the architecture and splendor of the building. The Belle Epoque building is a part of French heritage and is listed as a Historic Monument, along with its iconic facades. Therefore, no changes have been made to the building that do not respect its existing architecture and aesthetic.
The visually stunning and unique ARIA Collection, has been selected to add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the hotel’s already superb interiors, and to provide an unparallel guest experience.
